Operating within a regulated, technology-driven environment, they offer a supportive, collaborative culture where the IT team plays a key role in ensuring smooth business operations.

What will you be doing?

In this First Line Support role, you'll act as the initial point of contact for IT-related issues, logging and resolving tickets raised by staff via phone, email, and ticketing tools. You'll troubleshoot hardware and software issues, support Microsoft 365 applications, manage user accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID, and provide deskside assistance including device builds and workstation setup. You'll help maintain tidy stock levels, assist with file restoration from backups, and contribute clear documentation to the internal knowledge base.

What will you need?

• Experience in a first line / service desk / technical support environment

• Solid understanding of Microsoft operating systems & Microsoft 365

• Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools

• Exposure to Active Directory and Entra ID user administration

• Strong troubleshooting skills and understanding of core IT concepts

• Clear, confident communication skills via phone, email, and Teams

• Proactive, eager-to-learn mindset with good attention to detail

What would be desirable?

• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure

• Understanding of backup processes and file recovery

• Basic LAN / networking knowledge

• Interest in AI and its applications within IT support
