Front End Developer - JavaScript / React Chester | Hybrid working

We're recruiting a Front End Developer to join an established business supporting a high-traffic eCommerce platform. You'll work with modern front-end technologies to build customer-facing features, support campaigns, and improve the performance of a headless storefront.

The role

• Build and enhance features using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript

• Develop reusable components and customer-facing functionality

• Support day-to-day eCommerce trading and campaign activity

• Implement A/B testing and platform improvements

• Deliver features and bug fixes across web platforms and mobile apps

• Contribute to planning, design, and team reviews

What you'll need

• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript experience

• Solid front-end fundamentals (HTML, SCSS/CSS)

• Experience with React and Node.js

• Understanding of eCommerce environments

Nice to have

• Experience with commerce platforms or CMS tools

• Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
