This is a great opportunity to take a lead role in modernising our architecture, improving our cloud-native infrastructure, and delivering new capabilities to help customers capture and verify location and identity data globally.
Responsibilities...
- Lead the technical design, architecture, and delivery of high-scale SaaS platforms
- Mentor other engineers and promote engineering excellence across the team
- Collaborate closely with Engineering Managers and Product Managers to deliver new features
- Contribute to modernising existing monoliths and leading new greenfield initiatives
- Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and observability using metrics and customer data
- Champion agile practices and continuous delivery pipelines
- Hands-on with development as well as setting technical direction
Requirements:
- Strong commercial experience in software engineering using C# .NET
- Experience working with distributed cloud-native systems, ideally GCP and Kubernetes
- Confident working with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Passion for clean architecture, engineering best practices and mentoring others
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines and GitOps
