What will you be doing? This hands-on role will see you assisting in the design, installation, and ongoing management of complex customer networks. You'll provide advanced support for connectivity issues, work on large-scale projects, and ensure network security and optimisation. As a senior member of the team, you'll mentor junior engineers, support internal knowledge-sharing, and contribute to the delivery of industry-leading solutions across multiple platforms and technologies.
What will you need?* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role within a complex technical environment* Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, subnetting)* Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade equipment (Cisco, Juniper or similar)* Proven ability with routing & switching, including protocols such as OSPF and BGP* Strong knowledge of SD-WAN and wireless networking solutions* Experience with network security technologies (firewalls, VPNs, encryption; Palo Alto or similar preferred)* Skilled in troubleshooting with monitoring tools and packet capture analysis* Familiarity with automation/scripting (Python, API, HTML) desirable* Excellent communication and documentation skills* CCNA certification required; other certifications (JNCIA, PCNSA, CWNA) desirable
