- Hybrid working - 2 days on-site in Manchester

ABOUT THE CLIENT
We're supporting an established technology organisation that develops enterprise software solutions for a diverse client base. Following continued growth, they're looking to add an experienced Product Owner who enjoys working closely with customers, development teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital products.
THE ROLE:
As a Product Owner, you'll act as the bridge between clients and the development team, gathering business requirements, defining product roadmaps and ensuring features deliver genuine value. You'll work closely with technical teams to translate business needs into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria, helping to shape the future direction of multiple enterprise applications.
Alongside managing and prioritising the product backlog, you'll facilitate Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, stand-ups and retrospectives. You'll also support feature demonstrations, assist with issue investigation, contribute to technical documentation and collaborate with developers, testers and stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery from concept through to release.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Previous experience working as a Product Owner or in a similar Agile product role
- Strong experience gathering and analysing business requirements
- Confident writing user stories and acceptance criteria
- Experience managing and prioritising product backlogs
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work closely with developers, testers and business users
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Desirable
- Azure DevOps Boards
- Confluence
- SQL
- Experience working with APIs and integration projects
- Understanding of JSON, CSV or other data formats
