Due to continued growth, we're looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join an established organisation that places quality, security, and reliability at the centre of its software delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving modern testing practices and helping development teams embed quality across the entire software development lifecycle.

THE QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER ROLE

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for defining and implementing QA strategies that support reliable, scalable, and secure software delivery.

You'll collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and DevOps to ensure quality is embedded from the earliest stages of development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Championing test automation and modern testing practices
  • Improving existing testing frameworks and processes
  • Implementing risk-based testing approaches to prioritise critical functionality
  • Supporting performance, security, and usability testing
  • Analysing QA metrics and testing outcomes to continuously improve quality
  • Supporting compliance with frameworks.

QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER - ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Strong knowledge of software testing principles and QA strategies
  • Experience working in Agile development environments
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
  • Experience implementing risk-based testing approaches
  • Ability to analyse QA metrics and improve testing processes
  • Experience collaborating with development, product, and DevOps teams
  • Understanding of security and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
