CONTRACT ROLE - SENIOR SAP DEVELOPER | LEEDS (HYBRID) | £550 OUTSIDE IR35 PER DAY | 6-MONTH CONTRACT

THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for an experienced Senior SAP Developer to support an exclusive engagement with a financial services organisation.

This is a delivery-focused role working within a large-scale enterprise programme, contributing to the development and enhancement of critical SAP systems, with a particular focus on data integration and transformation.

The position is well-suited to someone comfortable working within complex environments, picking up existing systems quickly, and contributing to fast-paced transformation initiatives.

THE ROLE

As a Senior SAP Developer, you will:

• Develop and enhance SAP solutions within an enterprise-scale environment
• Work on large transformation programmes (e.g. S/4HANA or platform upgrades)
• Work with data integration pipelines and support ETL processes across systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Support integration across SAP and wider enterprise platforms
• Contribute to system improvements, performance optimisation, and ongoing enhancements

TECH STACK / REQUIREMENTS

• Strong SAP development experience (e.g. ABAP, S/4HANA)
• Demonstrable experience with SAP Data Services (BODS) for ETL / data integration
• Exposure to SAP HANA database environments (data modelling, performance or database-level work)
• Experience working within enterprise-scale environments
• Experience delivering on large transformation or integration programmes
• Strong understanding of SAP architecture and system integration
• Ability to work independently and contribute quickly within established teams

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience within banking / financial services environments
• Experience supporting data migration or transformation programmes
• Exposure to S/4HANA transformation programmes
• Experience integrating SAP with other enterprise platforms
