THE SENIOR NAVIGATION CONTROL ENGINEER ROLE:

As a Senior Navigation Control Engineer, you'll take ownership of navigation, guidance, and control algorithms across complex autonomous systems. You'll work closely with perception, autonomy, and embedded teams to deliver accurate, reliable, and safe vehicle behaviour in real-world environments.

The role spans algorithm development, system integration, simulation, and validation, with exposure to both research-driven problem solving and production-level engineering.

SENIOR NAVIGATION CONTROL ENGINEER ESSENTIAL SKILLS
  • Strong experience in navigation, guidance, and control (NGC) systems

  • Solid grounding in control theory, state estimation, and sensor fusion

  • Experience developing algorithms for autonomous or robotic platforms

  • Proficiency in C++ and/or Python within a real-time or embedded environment

  • Experience working with GNSS, INS, IMU, SLAM, or related localisation technologies

  • Comfortable validating algorithms through simulation, SIL/HIL, and real-world testing
