THE ROLE
We're recruiting a Senior .NET Developer for a long-established digital solutions business in Nottingham. This is a fully on-site role, working in a close-knit, experienced development team that builds and supports bespoke web platforms, e-commerce sites and business system integrations for UK clients.
You'll work across a mature, established codebase using C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET and SQL Server. You'll maintain and extend existing systems as well as delivering new features and integrations. This role suits a seasoned developer who enjoys hands-on, practical problem solving and working directly with the business.
Interviews can take place immediately. Immediate or short-notice starters are ideal.

THE SENIOR .NET DEVELOPER ROLE
- Develop, maintain and enhance web applications and bespoke platforms using C#, VB.NET and ASP.NET
- Design, write and optimise SQL Server databases, queries and stored procedures
- Build and support integrations between client websites and third-party business systems
- Support and extend a mature, established codebase, including legacy VB.NET components
- Troubleshoot, debug and resolve production issues
- Work closely with colleagues and clients to understand requirements and deliver practical solutions
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- 10+ years' commercial software development experience
- Strong C# and ASP.NET experience
- Commercial VB.NET experience, or a willingness to work on VB.NET codebases
- Solid SQL Server skills, including T-SQL, stored procedures and performance tuning
- Experience building and supporting web applications and system integrations
- Must live within a commutable distance of Nottingham and be happy working fully on-site
- Must have the full right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available.
