THE SOFTWARE ENGINEER IN TEST ROLE:

As a Software Engineer in Test, you'll play a key role in ensuring software quality throughout the development lifecycle. Working closely with developers and product teams, you'll contribute during planning sessions, help define acceptance criteria and carry out both manual and automated testing to deliver high-quality releases.

You'll spend the majority of your time developing and enhancing automated test suites using modern frameworks, while also supporting manual testing where required. You'll be encouraged to explore new testing approaches, improve existing processes and continually develop your technical skills within a supportive engineering environment.

SOFTWARE ENGINEER IN TEST ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman or Playwright
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices
  • Knowledge of exploratory, regression and smoke testing techniques
  • SQL and database querying skills
  • Experience building automated tests using Playwright
  • Exposure to modern automation frameworks including Cypress and TypeScript
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
