The Ecommerce Manager role

This is a broad, senior ecommerce role working closely with the Digital Director and wider digital team. You'll act as the ecommerce lead for assigned clients, owning trading performance, channel strategy and profitable growth. Alongside this, you'll manage selected web design and build projects, ensuring delivery is on time and on budget, and lead on digital audits that inform strategic recommendations.

Day to day, you'll oversee ecommerce strategy and trading plans, coordinate cross-channel campaigns, manage email and affiliate marketing activity, and work hands-on with website optimisation, merchandising and development requirements. You'll be highly analytical, comfortable reporting on performance, and confident presenting insights and recommendations to clients.

Ecommerce Manager - essential skills

  • Proven experience managing ecommerce performance and online trading
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels including email and affiliate marketing
  • Hands-on experience with platforms such as Shopify and WordPress
  • Experience using tools such as Klaviyo, affiliate networks, and Google Analytics
  • Solid understanding of website UX, CRO and ecommerce optimisation
  • Confident managing digital projects and working with development teams
  • Strong reporting, analytical and stakeholder management skills
