Commercial Manager

Birmingham (Hybrid - 3 days per week on-site)

£38–45k per annum

We’re working with a growing digital marketing agency looking for a Commercial Manager to take full ownership of sales and revenue growth.

This is a senior, hands-on role where you’ll lead sales conversations, close retainer-based work (£1k–£5k per month), and build a reliable sales system that delivers predictable growth. You’ll have genuine authority to make commercial decisions, with minimal MD involvement.

The role

  • Own the sales function end-to-end
  • Close retainer-based, value-led services
  • Build and improve a sustainable sales system
  • Maintain a healthy, forecastable pipeline
  • Balance growth with delivery capacity and retention

About you

  • Proven experience owning sales or commercial performance in an agency or services business
  • Comfortable closing retainers and value-based services
  • Strong commercial judgement and accountability
  • High integrity and long-term mindset
