THE DATA ENGINEER ROLE:

As a Data Engineer, you'll design, develop and optimise robust ETL and ELT pipelines that underpin AI-powered products and analytics platforms. You'll work with SQL and Python to build scalable data solutions, support cloud-based orchestration, contribute to CI/CD processes, and help integrate machine learning outputs into production environments. You'll also play a key role in maintaining data quality, monitoring pipeline performance and collaborating with Product, AI and Engineering teams to deliver reliable, business-ready data solutions.

DATA ENGINEER ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Commercial experience within a Data Engineering or Data Platform role (Min 1 year)
  • Strong SQL and Python development skills
  • Experience building ETL and ELT pipelines
  • Knowledge of Azure, AWS or GCP cloud platforms
  • Understanding of data modelling and data warehousing principles
  • Exposure to CI/CD, Git and DevOps practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical teams
