Product Manager

Founding Product Manager – AI

Location: London – Hybrid (2/3x days)

Salary: £60,000–£70,000 + Equity

The Opportunity

Searchability is recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing, venture-backed AI startup in London looking to make its first dedicated Product hire.

The company is building an AI-powered B2B platform designed to automate complex commercial workflows and help teams manage relationships and processes more effectively.

You'll work directly with the CEO and have significant ownership from day one. This isn't a traditional Product Manager role focused on managing a large roadmap. The priority is taking an already-live product and making it significantly better.

You'll understand how customers are using the product, identify friction, run experiments and decide what should be improved, changed or removed. Ultimately, your product decisions should connect back to customer value, adoption and revenue.

What You'll Do

  • Own and continuously improve live product features.
  • Analyse customer behaviour, engagement and drop-off to identify improvements.
  • Speak directly with customers through regular discovery calls, research and demos.
  • Run experiments, define success metrics and use the results to make product decisions.
  • Scope features before engineering begins and thoroughly test releases.
  • Translate customer and commercial feedback into clear requirements for engineers.
  • Work closely across engineering, sales and leadership.
  • Bring strong product judgement and challenge experiences that aren't good enough.
  • Use AI tools such as Claude to prototype workflows, test ideas and potentially contribute PRs for engineering review.

What We're Looking For

Ideally, you'll have 1–3 years' experience in Product or an adjacent position such as Founder's Associate, Product Design, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering or Sales Engineering.

You'll be commercially minded and naturally think about revenue, conversion and customer value. You'll enjoy speaking directly with customers and be technical enough to work credibly alongside engineers, analyse data and test releases yourself.

An interest in AI and LLM products is important, particularly if you're already experimenting with AI tools and building your own workflows.

You'll suit this position if you enjoy shipping, measuring and improving, are comfortable wearing multiple hats and want significant ownership within an early-stage environment.

Experience building your own product or side project is particularly interesting, especially if you've tried to commercialise it or generate revenue.

Package

£60,000–£70,000 + meaningful equity

Hybrid – London

A rare opportunity to become the first Product hire within a funded AI startup, working directly with the founding team and having genuine influence over the product as the business scales.
