Managing Director

We are supporting a high-growth, professional services business operating across technology, telecoms, utilities and adjacent regulated markets , as it appoints a Managing Director to lead the next phase of its evolution.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a true P&L-owning MD role within a commercially established organisation, where ownership, accountability and leadership impact genuinely matter .

The Managing Director will have full responsibility for strategy, growth and performance of a £20m+ turnover business, working closely with the Board:

• Lead and execute a clear growth and diversification strategy
• Drive commercial performance, margin improvement and EBITDA growth
• Strengthen enterprise client relationships and secure new strategic accounts
• Lead digital and operational transformation across sales, delivery and operations
• Embed and champion an employee-ownership mindset , balancing performance with culture and engagement

This role suits a leader who enjoys ambiguity, pace and influence , and who is motivated by building something enduring rather than simply “running the machine”.

You are likely to be:

• A current or previous Managing Director, Divisional MD, or senior P&L leader
• Experienced within technology services, resourcing, consulting or professional services
• Commercially sharp, credible with Boards and enterprise clients, and comfortable leading change
• Energised by ownership, accountability and developing leadership teams

Experience in complex stakeholder environments is advantageous but not essential.

• Base salary circa £140,000
• Performance-related bonus
