A market-leading B2B technology business is seeking an ambitious, commercially driven Sales & Marketing Director to lead its next phase of growth. Reporting to the MD of this globally backed business, you'll form a key part of the senior leadership team.

Operating at the intersection of strategy and execution, this is a pivotal leadership role responsible for unifying sales, account management and marketing into one cohesive revenue engine.

This organisation is a recognised UK leader within its specialist vertical SaaS market and is entering an exciting period of commercial acceleration.

The Opportunity

This role will:

  • Own and deliver the integrated sales and marketing strategy
  • Drive net revenue growth and market share
  • Strengthen brand positioning and demand generation
  • Deepen engagement across key strategic accounts
  • Align commercial performance with wider corporate objectives

It is remote-first, but requires regular travel across the UK for leadership meetings, sales leadership, customer engagement and industry events.

The Role

Leadership & Commercial Strategy

  • Define and communicate a unified commercial vision
  • Set annual revenue, pipeline and lead-generation targets
  • Translate market intelligence into actionable growth plans
  • Align Sales, Marketing and Account Management around shared KPIs

Sales & Account Leadership

  • Lead new business and account management teams to exceed revenue targets
  • Embed rigorous forecasting and pipeline governance
  • Drive CRM discipline and data accuracy
  • Personally engage with key accounts to strengthen retention and upsell strategy

Marketing & Demand Generation

  • Develop and own the annual marketing plan and budget
  • Lead digital campaigns, content, events and brand initiatives
  • Optimise multi-channel demand generation and lead-nurture programmes
  • Track ROI, CAC, LTV and conversion performance
  • Elevate brand visibility within a defined B2B sector

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product, Customer Success and Finance to optimise the full customer journey
  • Feed market insight and competitive intelligence into product development
  • Represent the commercial function at senior leadership level

What We’re Looking For

You will bring:

  • Proven leadership experience in a combined Sales & Marketing Director role
  • A strong track record within B2B software or SaaS
  • Evidence of exceeding revenue and pipeline targets
  • Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms
  • Commercial sharpness with the ability to translate data into strategy
