Established E-Commerce Business | Young Data Function

I’m working with a well-established e-commerce business (nearly 10 years in) who built their data function around a year ago - and now they’re looking for a hands-on BI Developer / Data Engineer to help level things up.

This is a brilliant opportunity if you want ownership, variety, and the chance to shape how data is used across the business. As the team is still small, we need a full-stack BI Dev / Data Engineer who’s confident across both the frontend and backend ideally with 2-3+yrs commercial experience.

What you’ll be doing

Data Platform & Engineering

• Build and optimise SQL transformations in Redshift
• Develop Python-based pipelines and automation
• Improve ETL reliability and monitoring
• Work with large transactional datasets (Shopify, orders, products, customers)
• Own and evolve data models across the business

Reporting & BI

• Design scalable Power BI data models (not just visuals)
• Build reporting for Trading, Finance and Marketing
• Improve performance, accuracy and usability of existing reports
• Turn loose requirements into structured data solutions

What we're looking for

• 2-3yrs commercial experience
• Strong SQL (complex transformations + optimisation)
• Power BI + DAX
• AWS / Redshift
• Python for pipelines and automation
