This role sits within a front-office aligned technology team responsible for delivering high-performance trading solutions across the rates business.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement low-latency, multithreaded Java applications for electronic rates trading
• Develop and optimise execution algorithms, smart order routers, and pricing engines
• Profile and tune Java applications for garbage collection efficiency, lock contention, and throughput
• Implement real-time monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks
