SRE- Enterprise Data (City Of London)

Our client, a world leading hedge fund is looking for a SRE for their London office, The role requires the individual to be skilled in programming using a high level language (Python, Java, C/C++). You will be responsible for creating automated solutions and troubleshoot production issues related to enterprise data/reference data.

To succeed in this role, you should have experience with working with enterprise data systems, and problem solution resolution through post issue evaluations, root cause analysis and remediation.

Responsibilities:

• Create automated solutions and troubleshoot production issues related to to enterprise data/ reference data systems.
• Execute problem resolutions through post-issue evaluations , root-cause analysis and remediation.
• Analyse, performance test, document and identify optimisation opportunities and failure patterns/ incidents in the enterprise/reference data application.

Requirements:

• Experience with working with enterprise data
• Ability to program ( structures, OOP, and TDD) using one or more high level languages, Python Java and C/C++.
• Experience with working with data systems.
