Workday Finance Integrations Specialist

Contract Type: 18-month fixed-term contract

Working Pattern: Hybrid, ideally 4 days per week onsite

Start: As soon as possible

Key Technical Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Workday Integrations
• Experience with Workday Financials or finance-related Workday integrations
• Experience building, supporting, or troubleshooting Workday integrations using tools such as:
• EIB
• Core Connectors
• Workday Studio
• Workday APIs
• RaaS / reporting-based integrations
• Experience integrating Workday with third-party platforms
• Experience improving automation and reducing manual processes within Workday
• Understanding of finance processes, including reconciliation, accounting data flows, and financial data accuracy
• Ability to troubleshoot integration, data, and system issues
• Experience working with employee data uploads, onboarding processes, or HR/Finance data flows
• Strong stakeholder communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users

Highly Desirable Experience:

• Shopify or Shopify Pay integration experience
• Experience integrating Workday with eCommerce platforms, retail systems, payment platforms, or similar third-party applications
• Retail, fashion, consumer goods, or multi-brand business experience
• Experience supporting the onboarding of a new brand, entity, or business into Workday
• Workday Extend experience
• Advanced Workday Studio experience
• Experience working in a Workday environment where processes are still being improved, automated, or matured

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, maintain, and improve Workday integrations across finance and wider business systems
• Support Workday Financials integration activity, particularly around reconciliation, accounting data, and automation
• Improve data flows between Workday and external platforms
• Support integrations with third-party systems, including eCommerce and payment-related platforms
• Help automate manual employee onboarding and employee data upload processes
• Support upcoming work around onboarding an additional business/brand into Workday
• Troubleshoot and resolve Workday integration, data, and system issues
• Work closely with internal stakeholders across IT, Finance, and project teams
• Liaise with external Workday contacts or specialists where required
• Identify opportunities to improve current Workday architecture, automation, and reporting processes
• Ensure data integrity, security, and consistency across Workday and connected platforms
