Rate: £500 per day, inside IR35 (umbrella)

Contract: Initial 3-month contract
Overview of the Business Relationship Manager role
Sellick Partnership is currently supporting an organisation based in Bedfordshire with the recruitment of an experienced Business Relationship Manager to join their Digital, Data and Technology function on an interim basis.
This is a key business-facing role, acting as the strategic link between DDaT and services across the organisation. The successful candidate will build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, understand their priorities and challenges, and translate these into digital, data and technology requirements that deliver measurable outcomes.
Working across the organisation, you'll identify opportunities for digital transformation and service improvement, helping to shape demand, prioritise requirements and ensure technology delivers genuine value.
Key responsibilities of the Business Relationship Manager will include
* Acting as the strategic interface between DDaT and key business areas
* Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and service leads
* Understanding business priorities, challenges and opportunities and translating these into clear DDaT requirements
* Supporting the development and delivery of digital roadmaps aligned to organisational priorities
* Capturing, assessing and prioritising demand for digital, data and technology services
* Identifying opportunities for service improvement through technology, automation, data analytics and digital service design
* Facilitating workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions to understand requirements and identify improvement opportunities
* Supporting the development of business cases and benefits realisation plans for technology-enabled change
* Working closely with Project Managers, Architects, Technical Leads and suppliers to ensure solutions meet business requirements
* Supporting change management, stakeholder engagement and successful user adoption
* Monitoring service performance and contributing to continual service improvement
Required experience/qualifications of the Business Relationship Manager position will include
* Strong experience building and managing relationships with senior stakeholders
* Previous experience working within a digital, data, technology or transformation environment
* Proven experience translating business requirements into digital and technology solutions
* Experience facilitating workshops and stakeholder engagement activities
* Good understanding of project delivery, business change and service improvement methodologies
* Experience developing business cases, requirements and benefits realisation plans
* Strong understanding of customer-focused service delivery
* Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills
* Ability to balance business priorities against technology, resource and budget constraints
* Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
Desirable experience/qualifications will include
* Experience supporting digital transformation programmes
* Understanding of enterprise architecture and application portfolios
* Knowledge of emerging technologies including AI, automation and data analytics
* ITIL, Agile, PRINCE2, MSP, BCS Business Analysis or equivalent qualifications
