Location: Hybrid/London (x3 per week)
Salary: £40-44,000

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced SQL BI Developer to join a growing technology team delivering data-driven solutions across the business. This role will focus on designing, developing, optimising, and supporting SQL databases, SQL querying and reporting solutions that underpin critical business operations.
The successful candidate will work closely with others in the Business Intelligence team to deliver high-quality solutions and ensure data accuracy, performance, and reliability.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on SQL professional who enjoys solving complex data challenges and working in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reporting solutions using SQL and BI/reporting tools
• Work closely with colleagues to take requirements specifications and translate them into technical solutions.
• Automation of repetitive tasks
• Support deployment activities, testing, and release management

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong commercial experience as a SQL Developer or Database Developer
• Advanced knowledge of relational database (PostgreSQL/SQL Server)
• Strong experience in reading and writing SQL queries
• Understanding of database structures
• Familiarity with reporting and BI tools such as Power BI, SSRS or Tableau
• Understanding of software development life cycle and change management processes

• An inquisitive nature, able to carry out due diligence on both stakeholder requirements and reporting solutions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to manage priorities
• Someone who is passionate about SLQ coding
