Location: Torquay (Hybrid once established)

We're looking for a skilled WordPress developer to join a growing digital team supporting a range of creative and commercial web projects. This role is primarily office-based with hybrid flexibility available once you're settled.

You'll work across the full WordPress stack, building and improving websites that are fast, reliable, and user-focused. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, collaborating with non-technical teams and taking pride in clean, well-structured code.

What you'll be doing

• Building, improving, and supporting WordPress websites
• Developing and customising themes and plugins
• Working closely with designers and stakeholders to deliver new features
• Ensuring sites are responsive, accessible, secure and performance-optimised
• Integrating third-party tools, APIs and e-commerce functionality
• Diagnosing issues and providing ongoing technical support

What we're looking for

• Commercial experience with WordPress development
• Strong PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and database knowledge
• Experience with page builders (Elementor preferred)
• WooCommerce and SEO best-practice awareness
• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset

Nice to have: Git, REST APIs, headless WordPress, security practices, Agile exposure or generative engine optimization.
