Overview

We are seeking an experienced Transformation Manager to join our team on an interim basis to be resp.

This role will lead the implementation and transformation of patient-facing digital technologies, including mobile apps and digital engagement platforms, ensuring successful adoption across clinical and operational services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of patient-facing technology solutions, including digital apps and portals
  • Drive transformation and change management to ensure adoption by patients, clinicians, and operational teams
  • Provide strong change leadership, engaging stakeholders across clinical, digital, and operational functions
  • Manage and lead supplier relationships, including contract management, performance oversight, and delivery assurance
  • Negotiate with suppliers to ensure value for money, quality delivery, and adherence to timelines
  • Work closely with EPR suppliers and internal digital teams to ensure alignment with the wider digital strategy
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies related to technology implementation
  • Ensure solutions meet NHS standards for clinical safety, information governance, and accessibility

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience as a Transformation Manager / Change Lead within the NHS
  • Strong background in patient-facing digital technology (e.g. apps, portals, digital engagement tools)
  • Demonstrable experience working with EPR suppliers (e.g. Cerner, Epic, Nervecentre, System C, TPP, Doctor Dr etc.)
  • Significant supplier management and commercial negotiation experience
  • Track record of delivering complex digital transformation at pace
  • Ability to start immediately or at very short notice

Desirable

  • Prior experience working for a supplier would be advantageous
  • Experience delivering change in acute, community, or integrated care settings
  • Familiarity with NHS digital governance, assurance, and clinical safety processes
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with clinicians and senior leaders
