Seymour John are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing organisation that delivers data-driven services to clients across the UK. We’re looking for a Reporting Specialist to join their team on an initial 6-month contract, with an immediate start available.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, creating clear and accurate reports, and supporting internal teams by turning complex information into simple, polished outputs.

The Opportunity

As Reporting Specialist, you will act as the bridge between internal teams and external clients. You will extract information from internal systems, tidy and structure the data, and produce high-quality reports - mainly in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

The role involves both regular scheduled reporting as well as reactive, one-off requests. Accuracy, consistency and presentation are essential.

Key responsibilities include:

• Producing scheduled and ad-hoc reports within agreed timescales
• Extracting, querying and formatting data from internal databases
• Converting raw data into clear, client-ready documents
• Working closely with internal teams to understand reporting needs
• Managing inbound client data and ensuring all outputs follow version control
• Maintaining high standards of accuracy, consistency and confidentiality
• Supporting improvements to reporting templates and processes

What are we looking for?

• Strong Excel and Word skills (advanced Excel preferred)
• Experience working with data - including querying or manipulation
• Logical and process-driven approach to problems
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Clear communication skills and confidence turning requirements into outputs
• Experience in reporting, data analysis or a technical admin role
• Some exposure to client-facing environments is a bonus
