Management Accountant

This is an excellent opportunity within the IT sector for a fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) to join a well-established and high-performing finance team during a significant phase of growth and operational transformation. In your role as Management Accountant, you will report directly to the Finance Manager and gain a detailed understanding of the organisation’s operational activities, financial drivers, and overall business performance. Core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts with accompanying commentary and analysis.
  • Leading on the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
  • Completing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating/resolving variances.
  • Managing accruals, prepayments, and other month-end accounting adjustments.
  • Analysing financial performance and presenting key insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Supporting month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting systems.
  • Assisting with both internal and external audits, providing supporting schedules and documentation.
  • Producing ad hoc financial analysis and reporting, including cost-saving initiatives and process improvement recommendations.
  • Supporting operational teams with financial guidance and performance analysis.

The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with proven experience operating within a Management Accountant position.
