At Sharp Business Systems (SBS UK), we’re looking for an Account Manager to join our Commercial Sales team, managing and growing an established customer base while developing new business across your territory.
This is a field-based, hybrid role offering a balanced mix of account management and new business acquisition, with uncapped commission and strong long-term career potential.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts while generating new business opportunities
- Deliver against revenue targets and KPIs through a consultative, value-led sales approach
- Proactively prospect and develop new customers within your assigned territory
- Retain and expand customer relationships through upsell and cross-sell of Sharp’s solutions portfolio
- Maintain accurate CRM records, manage pipeline activity and produce reliable sales forecasts
- Plan and execute territory and account strategies based on customer, competitor and market insight
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to maximise sales opportunities
- Attend sales meetings, 1:1s and ongoing product and sales training
- Prepare high-quality sales proposals and documentation
- Use LinkedIn and other social platforms to engage customers and build your professional network
What You’ll Bring
- 3–5 years’ experience in B2B Sales and Account Management
- A strong AM-led profile with proven success winning new business
- Experience with consultative, solution-based selling
- Demonstrated ability to manage pipeline, forecast accurately and exceed targets
- A customer-centric, commercially minded approach
- Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- Resilience, drive and a proactive mindset
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing sales team
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the territory
Desirable:
- Background in IT Hardware, Managed Print or MFP sales (or other solution-led industries such as Automotive or Finance)
- Experience selling multi-product or technology-based solutions
- Confident, tech-savvy approach to modern B2B sales environments
