Working closely with engineering, development, operations and security teams, you will design and automate cloud solutions that enable the delivery of next-generation services across complex operational environments. You will have the opportunity to work with modern cloud technologies while contributing to solutions where security, reliability, scalability and performance are critical.
ResponsibilitiesDesign, build and configure cloud services to meet business and application requirementsMonitor and optimise cloud environments for performance, availability, cost and security complianceDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using technologies such as Terraform, CloudFormation or ARM templatesBuild and automate deployment pipelines and CI/CD workflows, reducing manual intervention and improving delivery efficiencyImplement and maintain cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption and network securityCollaborate with development, operations and security teams to enable reliable and secure application deploymentsContribute to the continuous improvement of cloud engineering practices, standards and automationRequirementsDemonstrable experience designing, deploying and managing solutions within AWSStrong practical experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly TerraformExperience working with CI/CD pipelines and associated toolingA solid understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, VPNs, load balancers, firewalls and routingStrong knowledge of AWS services and cloud infrastructureThe ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary engineering and technical teamsA bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
