Senior Backend Developer, Node.js

I'm looking for a Senior Backend Developer with strong TypeScript and Node.js experience for my awesome multi billion globally operating client. You’ll be working on a complex, multi-environment ecosystem made up of a large number of repositories, powered by modern microservices built with TypeScript / Node.js / Docker, deployed to AWS via automated CI/CD pipelines and Terraform infrastructure.

• Designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
• Collaborating within a cross-functional Agile team to deliver high-quality outcomes
• Leading by example during complex challenges
• Mentoring junior developers and contributing to a culture of technical excellence
• Rolling up your sleeves to tackle critical issues and drive solutions when it matters most

What We’re Looking For

• Significant commercial experience building backend systems with Node.js and TypeScript
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
• A track record of taking ownership from design through to delivery
• Experience contributing effectively to Agile ceremonies and helping teams adapt and improve
