Technical Business Analyst

I'm looking for a Technical Business Analyst for my awesome multi-billion international client, to lead and deliver software projects from conception through to completion. This is a multi-faceted role that blends project management, business analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and hands-on involvement to ensure the successful delivery of impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Business Analysis: Partner with stakeholders and development teams to gather, refine, and translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
- Project Ownership: Lead software projects through their full lifecycle—from planning and design to implementation, testing, and ongoing support.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the key liaison between technical teams and business units, managing expectations and delivering regular progress updates.
- Planning & Risk Management: Create structured project plans, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure delivery remains on time and within budget.
- Active Delivery Involvement: Contribute to solution design, testing coordination, user training, and producing supporting documentation.
- Ongoing Support: Ensure that delivered solutions provide lasting business value and ongoing support is in place.
- Technical Insight: Build deep knowledge of platforms and tools to support decision-making and issue resolution.
Essential Skills Required:
- Demonstrated experience managing full lifecycle software development projects.
- Strong skills in business analysis, including requirements gathering and documentation.
- Financial acumen for budgeting, estimation, and monitoring project costs.
- A sound technical background with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to report clearly on project status, risks, and issues to senior leadership.
- Capability to deconstruct complex challenges into manageable workstreams.
- Familiarity with project and service delivery frameworks such as Prince2, MSP, ITIL, and tools like JIRA.
