Digital Project Manager
Project Manager | Digital Transformation | Hybrid working | 3 days a week onsite in Chester | £50k/pa
We’re a boutique, independent transformation, automation and AI company with an exciting opportunity for an experienced, technically minded project manager to join us on the journey of building digital products, web applications, infrastructures and AI enabled solutions for leading UK brands.
The successful candidate will ideally be based in the North-West and be able to commute to our Chester office 3 times a week as the project requires.
As the project manager, you’ll be responsible for defining scope, managing schedules and budgets, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of high-impact digital transformation initiatives.

What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the delivery of digital transformation projects & initiatives across leading UK brands.
- Define project scope, objectives, and success metrics.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Ensure projects meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Gathering project requirements and preparing detailed specifications aligned with client objectives.
- Integrate AI-driven solutions to automate recurring tasks, delivering measurable time savings and productivity gains.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Presenting to and liaising with senior leadership teams, internally and externally.
- Facilitate workshops for requirements gathering, innovation, and solution design.
- Manage cross-functional teams including UX, designers, and developers.
- Ensure effective resource allocation and workload balance.
- Identify project risks, blockers and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Monitor deliverables for compliance with agreed standards.
- Provide regular progress updates to clients and senior leadership.
- Track KPIs and ensure continuous improvement across projects.
About you:
- Proven experience managing digital transformation projects in consultancy or agency environments.
- Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle, across discovery, UX design, development processes, and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with AI integration, including implementing AI-driven solutions and collaborating with technical teams on AI adoption.
- Experience delivering programmes across multiple workstreams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial understanding, with familiarity working within a variety of commercial models.
- Demonstrate a good technical knowledge of the end solution including front/backend technologies and technical architecture
- Well-versed in project management methodologies.
- Proficient with JIRA, Confluence or similar project management and documentation solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
