About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Embedded Software Engineer to join a growing team working on advanced Integrated systems for rotorcraft platforms. This role involves designing and developing embedded applications focused on signal processing and data handling for safety-critical aerospace environments.
You will contribute to the development of next-generation rotorcraft solutions that monitor drivetrain health and optimise aircraft maintenance through intelligent data interpretation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and testing of embedded software applications deployed on Linux-based platforms
- Develop software solutions for signal processing, data acquisition, storage, and secure access
- Ensure software is compliant with industry safety standards, including DO-178C DAL D
- Contribute to continuous integration and automated testing pipelines to maintain code quality and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems engineers, software architects, and product owners
- Support troubleshooting, debugging, and optimisation of software systems
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Minimum 4 years of experience in embedded software development using C++
- Proficiency working on Linux-based embedded platforms
- Experience with real-time signal processing or data movement for sensor-driven systems
- Familiarity with Python and SQLite is advantageous
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle in safety-critical or highly regulated industries
