Role: Graduate Software DeveloperLocation: Cheltenham - Hybrid Salary: £40,000 per annumDuration: 12 month contract OverviewAs part of the €20 billion revenue Safran Group, Safran Landing Systems Services UK Ltd is a leading site offering Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) support for Landing Gear equipment covering Airbus, Boeing and Military Gears. We are looking for a Software Developer to build and implement MRO Systems. You will work with other Developers and stakeholders throughout the software development process. In this role, you should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills. You should also have an understanding in popular coding languages (e.g. .NET, C# and SQL). Responsibilities * Work individually and collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse requirements for web-based applications and systems. * Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and robust web solutions using the .NET framework. * Utilise front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript. * Implement server-side logic and database integration using Entity, C#, and SQL Server. * Verify and deploy programs and systems * Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems * Gather and evaluate user feedback * Recommend and execute improvements * Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions and best practices. * Create technical documentation for reference and reporting Requirements and skills * Understanding of C#.NET technologies* Previous knowledge of ASP.NET MVC/Core/Blazor, Web API, and Entity Framework are a bonus but not essential* Understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks/libraries. * Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. * Ability to learn new languages and technologies * Excellent communication skills * Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude * Attention to detail Security ClearanceBaseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role.
