The Role
We are seeking an Offline Technical Co-ordinator to support our offline post-production team
across a range of projects. The role is crucial in ensuring that editorial teams (In house & remote)
have smooth access to media, systems, and workflows, with technical and organisational support
throughout the offline editing process.
In addition, the role will also be responsible for supporting the offices IT infrastructure, including
maintaining computers, internet connectivity, and overseeing online document storage (Google
Drive), ensuring that all teams can work collaboratively, coherently, and efficiently.
The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organised, and comfortable working in a fast-
paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines.
What You'll be Doing
Project Setup & Media Management
- Collaborative role with existing inhouse DIT specialist.
- Knowledge of ingestesting rushes, proxies, and other media for offline edits.
- Knowledge of organising and maintain shared storage systems and project structures.
Technical Support
- Provide first-line technical support for Adobe Premiere Pro
- Troubleshoot media linking, project crashes, and workflow issues.
- Liaise with senior technical staff or engineers when escalations are required.
Workflow & Delivery - Collaborative role with Senior Editors
- Oversee the conform and prep process for online and finishing.
- Manage exports and deliverables from offline suites for producers, directors, and clients.
- Ensure smooth turnovers to online, grade, and sound departments.
Co-ordination & Communication
- Ensure department adheres to best workflow practices
- Liaise with external consultants to provide clear department technical requirements
- Maintain clear documentation of workflows, updates, and any changes in project setup.
- Schedule and prioritise tasks across multiple shows.
IT Support
- Maintain and troubleshoot office computers and related hardware
- Ensure stable and reliable internet connectivity & connectivity to Local NAS setup
- Oversee and organise online document storage (Google Drive)
- Manage user access and permissions across shared drives & local
NAS setup
- Monitor data storage security, firewalls, and safety protocols
- Support teams in maintaining efficient and coherent file management practices
- Provide general IT support to staff as needed
Operating systems
- Mac OS (All office computers are Mac OS)
- Windows
- Shared Storage systems
Quality Control
- Carry out basic QC checks on exports, sync, and media prep.
- Flag potential issues early to avoid downstream delays.
What we're looking for
- Experience in offline post-production (preferably in television or film).
- Strong technical knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro (experience other NLEs beneficial).
- Familiarity with shared storage, media management, and post-production workflows.
- Experience of IT / In
- Strong knowledge of networking, server connections, and online security to maintain smooth and safe operations.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Confident communicator able to work with editorial and technical teams under pressure.
