Head of Infrastructure & Information Security

We're supporting a leading international law firm with the appointment of a Head of Infrastructure & Information Security to join its global IT team.

• Salary - £100,000 - £140,000
• Office Location - City of London
• Working Environment - Hybrid (3 days a week in office)
• Legal or Financial Services experience would be beneficial

This is a senior role, with responsibility for the operational management of global technology infrastructure and the firm’s cybersecurity programme across multiple international offices.

The role will oversee networks, cloud and on-premise systems, core legal applications, information security controls, incident response, vendor management, disaster recovery, and infrastructure/security projects. It will also play a key part in supporting IT strategy, strengthening cyber resilience, and ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery across the firm.

We’re looking for someone with:

• 10+ years’ IT experience, including senior responsibility for infrastructure and/or cybersecurity

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Entra ID/Azure AD, Active Directory and Windows Server

• Experience managing enterprise infrastructure, networks, cloud environments and security tools

• A strong understanding of cybersecurity operations, risk management, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus and GDPR

• Proven experience leading projects, managing suppliers, and supporting distributed international teams

• A background in legal or professional services would be highly advantageous

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, Azure, ITIL or ISO 27001 would be beneficial
