Senior Strategy Consultant

We are looking for a Senior Strategy Consultant (full time, fixed term contract) to drive strategy across CX, CRM, loyalty, and data-enabled marketing transformation. This role will partner with senior stakeholders to shape strategy, build frameworks and roadmaps, and ensure that recommendations can be operationalised in practice across channels, data platforms, and technology ecosystems.

This is a senior, hands-on strategic role - not just high-level visioning. You will work across levels of abstraction, from business ambition to tactical initiatives, and you will be accountable for ensuring strategy connects to measurable business outcomes.

What You'll Do

Shape Customer & Growth Strategy

● Partner with senior stakeholders to define business objectives, growth priorities, and measurable KPIs

● Develop clear strategic pillars and structured frameworks that connect customer ambition to commercial outcomes

● Identify high-value opportunities across CX, CRM, loyalty, and data-enabled marketing

Translate Strategy into Roadmaps & Actionable Plans

● Lead structured discovery and requirements gathering to systemise use cases and prioritise initiatives

● Translate high-level ambitions into phased roadmaps, tactical initiatives, and defined sub-KPIs

● Design future-state blueprints spanning customer journeys, data, technology, and operating models

Enable Data & Martech-Driven Execution

● Define how CDP, CRM, AI, analytics, and marketing orchestration capabilities support strategic objectives

● Ensure strategy translates effectively across owned and paid channels

● Work closely with delivery and technical teams to ensure recommendations are feasible, scalable, and execution-ready

Drive Measurement & Value Realisation

● Establish performance frameworks that connect initiatives to business impact

● Ensure operational detail and use cases clearly align with prioritised business goals

● Track impact and continuously refine strategy based on measurable results

What We're Looking For

Experience & Expertise

● 8+ years specifically in strategy, CX, CRM, loyalty, or martech transformation roles - ideally within consulting, agency or strategic client teams

● Experience shaping and presenting strategic frameworks, roadmaps and blueprints

● Strong understanding of data-enabled decisioning, analytics, and customer platforms

● Practical experience with CRM strategy and customer lifecycle thinking - hands-on strategic experience with loyalty programmes is preferred

● Ability to translate insight into strategic recommendations and actionable plans

● Proven experience leading strategy across complex marketing or CX transformation programmes

● Collaboration with cross-functional teams and technical stakeholders

● Broad experience and interest across key marketing disciplines, including insight, strategy, innovation, CX, and e-commerce and AI.

● Excellent communicator who can build strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders

● Proactive, ideas-driven, with a bias toward leading strategy rather than purely responding to framed tasks

● Whilst being ideas driven, the right candidate will also understand the importance of being data driven, and is able to strike the right balance between the two

● Skilled in turning ambiguity into clarity and aligning teams around priorities
