Cybersecurity Risk Manager
Simmons & Hanbury are currently supporting on the worlds leading quantitative trading firms to support the development of their Cyber Risk function .
In this role you will work alongside cross-functional teams and improve cyber security governance and risk management, ensuring that the strategy aligns with internal culture and industry standards.
This is a key role in a tech division of one of the worlds fastest growing, most successful trading firms. For this position we are looking for candidates who have worked in cyber risk in dynamic organisations, ideally in the fintech space . Those coming from large, international banks or tech firms are unlikely to be considered.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and enhance cybersecurity polices, partnering with the business to ensure adherence.
- Keep up to date with regulatory requirements, ensure that any changes or updates are met.
- Conduct third-party vendor assessments, working with stakeholders internally and externally.
- Work on control assessments, and ensure that any gaps of weaknesses are reviewed and improvements are implemented.
Requirements:
- Experience working in cyber risk management in a tech function of a dynamic financial services organisation, ideally a fintech.
- Demonstrable experience of working with multiple stakeholders on cyber risk management issues.
- Experience working with ISO 27001 and analysis or existing RCSA frameworks.
The client can be very flexible on compensation for the right person, but it is crucial that any applicants have worked in cyber risk management in a fintech, quant trading house or small but growing tech focused firm.
