SC Cleared SAS Data Engineer - Government

We are looking for an SC Cleared SAS Data Engineer to support secure Government data projects. You will build and maintain SAS-based data pipelines, deliver reliable SQL transformations, and work closely with policy and operational teams to create trusted, high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise SAS data pipelines (Enterprise Guide, Viya)
• Build accurate, high-performance SQL transformations
• Translate Business Requirements into secure technical solutions
• Perform unit testing and data validation to meet Government assurance standards
• Troubleshoot issues and deliver long-term fixes
• Document data workflows and logic clearly and consistently

Skills & Experience

• Active SC Clearance required
• Strong SAS Enterprise Guide experience
• Advanced SQL, including performance tuning
• Experience with SAS Viya or cloud-enabled SAS
• Proven data validation and testing capability
• Knowledge of data models, flows, and public-sector processes
• Able to work independently and within agile/hybrid teams
