Account Executive

Simple Recruitment are looking for an Account Executive for a permanent opportunity with our client in Midsomer Norton.

The Job:

Our client is seeking a driven, proactive Account Executive to accelerate new business growth within their core front line sectors. This is a high-impact, outbound-driven role responsible for generating pipeline, conducting tailored system demonstrations, managing the full sales cycle, and closing new customers.

Key requirements:

Drive New Business Revenue

  • Own the complete sales cycle from outbound prospecting to qualification, demonstration, negotiation, and close.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline through consistent outbound activity, including cold calling, email sequences, and targeted research.
  • Conduct online product demonstrations tailored to customer requirements and sector-specific challenges.
  • Produce accurate proposals, quotes, and forecasts using standard sales tools and processes.

Strategic Prospecting & Market Engagement

  • Identify, target, and engage organisations in the Healthcare and Hospitality sectors, including key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Gather market and prospect intelligence to sharpen targeting, messaging, and commercial strategy.
  • Represent the company professionally in customer conversations and at occasional industry events or client site visits.

Account Onboarding & Growth

  • Effectively hand over and support the onboarding of new customers, ensuring training is booked and early adoption is strong.
  • Maintain contact with key accounts to protect against churn and identify expansion opportunities.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with Marketing, Customer Support, and Product teams to refine campaigns, share insights, and improve customer outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, ensuring all activity, progress, and forecast information is up to date.
  • Contribute to weekly sales meetings with pipeline updates and market feedback

The Hours:

Monday to Friday

8.30am to 5.00pm

About You:

  • Proven success in an outbound, new-business B2B sales role (minimum 1 year), ideally selling technology or SaaS solutions.
  • Strong cold-calling experience with demonstrated ability to generate demand from scratch.
  • Confident delivering online product demonstrations and navigating multi-stakeholder sales processes.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to uncover customer pain points quickly and accurately.
  • Excellent communication, resilience, and organisational skills.
