Data Administrator
Simple Recruitment are looking for a Data Administrator for a temporary opportunity with our client in Salisbury.
The Job:
- Support the transition to a new provider, acting as a key point of contact throughout the process to ensure a smooth and consistent transition.
- Assist in the creation and management of accounts across bespoke safeguarding management platforms.
- Liaise with representatives to collect and process registration forms, identifying and correcting any errors, inconsistencies or discrepancies. Manage files and records using SharePoint, maintaining strict confidentiality and organisation.
- Provide information and training materials to resolve queries and provide ongoing support as required through the transition period.
- Work closely and communicate with team members to enable a coordinated approach, ensuring that data is processed accurately and on time. Collaborate effectively by keeping documentation updated and well-maintained.
- Assist in preparing regular and ad-hoc reports for the Safeguarding Team lead on the data transition.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection policies and regulations.
- Escalate any issues to the relevant members of the Safeguarding team
The Salary:
£13.33 per hour
The Hours:
Monday to Friday
9.00am to 5.00pm
About You:
- Good standard of literacy and education (at least A level or equivalent)
- Experience of providing administrative support with high regard for accuracy and timely delivery.
- Experience using IT data management systems.
- Proven experience in data entry, data processing, or administrative support.
- Proficiency and demonstrable experience working with Microsoft Office 365 and cloud-based virtual environment, e.g., SharePoint, Zoom, confident in using a variety of technologies and a willingness to learn and work with new technologies and programmes as necessary.
- Excellent communication skills capable of relating well to a wide range of people with varying expectations
- Self-motivated, flexible, highly organised, and able to effectively prioritise, control and organise own workload so that multiple aspects are managed appropriately.
- Ability to explain complex matters to those unfamiliar with specialist terminology.
- Emotional resilience as role involves dealing with sensitive subject matters which at times can prove emotive.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail including when working on systems and databases, report writing.
