Why do we need this role?

As a Staff Data Analyst, you will be part of a team, championing the use of data within our organization, and ensuring that insight is driven with a clear strategy aligned to our business outcomes and growing operations. You will also be joining a much broader, award winning international data team that is doing some really exciting things with the latest Big Data and analytics technologies.

In this role, you will:

- \nWork closely with cross-functional development teams to test hypotheses and deliver innovative products.\n
- \nEnable self-service for business stakeholders through best-in-class tooling.\n
- \nHave an eagerness to improve analytical techniques through a variety of sources, including leveraging our data science and data engineering teams.\n
- \nHave the opportunity to work with stakeholders in a high-pace, agile environment which encourages autonomy and growth.\n
- \nContribute to and drive forward changes to team strategy.\n

Responsibilities include:
\n
\n
- \n
- \nDelivery of high quality analysis and recommendations to support the Product Teams and help them achieve their objectives\n
- \nCarry out customer journey analysis\n
- \nMeasure the impact of multi-channel strategies\n
- \nUncover and deliver insight through ad-hoc data exploration and visualization\n
- \nWork with our data engineers to evolve our data sets and data pipelines\n
- \nBuild dashboards and self-service query tools and train colleagues to use them\n
- \nPromote the output and capabilities of the analysis team across the business to help foster a company-wide data driven culture\n
- \nMentor more junior members of the team, and work with managers to drive development on both an individual and team level.\n

What are we looking for:
\n
\n
- \n
- \n6+ years of experience as an Analyst/Data Scientist\n
- \nExpert SQL Knowledge\n
- \nProven aptitude for problem solving and experimenting (A/B tests)\n
- \nCollaborating across cross-functional teams\n
- \nProven aptitude for analysis of data and problem solving\n
- \nA degree in STEM, Economics, or similar\n
- \nThe ability to challenge us! We want people who can come in and shape the future of this business, not afraid to raise questions and help us improve\n
- \nInsurance knowledge is a plus!\n
