CRM / Data Business Analyst

My client are looking for a skilled CRM & Data Business Analyst with proven experience in Marketing to join there growing digital and data team. This role will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, data teams, and technical delivery, ensuring our CRM and marketing platforms are optimized to drive engagement, automation, and insight across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

CRM & Marketing:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for enhancements and integrations within Marketing.
  • Support the design and rollout of marketing automation campaigns, segmentation strategies, and customer journeys.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to optimize lead management, customer engagement, and campaign analytics.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and ensure alignment with system capabilities and best practices.
  • Support configuration, testing, and deployment of CRM and marketing solutions.

Data & Insights:

  • Collaborate with data teams to define, validate, and manage customer data models, ensuring data integrity and compliance (e.g., GDPR).
  • Develop dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights on campaign performance, lead conversion, and customer behavior.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation, data enrichment, and system optimization.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Liaise between marketing, sales, and IT stakeholders to ensure CRM and marketing initiatives meet business objectives.
  • Provide training and documentation to end-users to maximize adoption and effective use of the platform.
  • Champion best practices in CRM usage, data management, and marketing automation.

Key Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • 3+ years' experience as a Business Analyst in a CRM environment.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Marketing (email marketing, customer journeys, segments, lead scoring, etc.).
  • Data Reporting & Insights experience.
  • Proven experience mapping business processes and translating them into CRM functionality.
  • Solid understanding of data management, data modelling, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel).
  • Experience with requirements gathering, process documentation, and stakeholder workshops.
  • Familiarity with GDPR, consent management, and marketing data governance.

Desirable:

  • Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
  • Exposure to integration projects (e.g., connecting CRM to ERP, websites, or third-party marketing tools)..
  • Background in digital transformation, customer experience, or data analytics initiatives.
