Skillfinder International is hiring an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to support the continued growth of our permanent recruitment offering. Based from our City of London office, this role offers the opportunity to work across UK, European, and global markets, partnering with clients in financial services and technology. This is a role for a true 360 recruiter who enjoys building client relationships, delivering high-quality permanent talent, and working in a professional, market-led recruitment environment.

About the Role

Our clients are increasingly looking for trusted recruitment partners across permanent hiring as well as contract & freelance and as a result, Skillfinder International is strengthening its permanent recruitment capability, with a greater focus on exclusive and retained searches, deeper client relationships, and higher delivery standards across the UK, Europe, and international markets. This is not a replacement role. It is a strategic hire to support long-term growth.

Responsibilities

• Developing client relationships – this is a 360 role, the emphasis is on developing new business.
• Running the full 360 permanent recruitment process.
• Delivering to permanent roles across contingent, exclusive, and retained assignments.
• Meeting clients, attending briefings, and managing recruitment processes end to end.
• Using our CRM, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, and referrals to source candidates.
• Applying AI and recruitment automation tools to improve efficiency and delivery.
• Maintaining accurate CRM usage throughout the recruitment process.
• Supporting and mentoring junior consultants where appropriate.

Required skills and experience

• Proven experience as a 360 Recruitment Consultant, within permanent recruitment.
• A proven track record of consistent billing.
• Background in Technology and/or Financial Services recruitment.
• Experience of managing client relationships and delivering quality candidates.
• Must have the right to work in the UK – sponsorship is not available for this role.
• Confident use of LinkedIn as a sourcing and business development tool.
• Commercial, professional, and well-organised.
• Ambitious and career-minded approach.
• Excellent negotiation, influencing, and expectation management skills.
