Oracle Fusion Technical Consultant (VBCS & OCI Developer)

Overview

We are supporting a UK-based Oracle Cloud programme seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Technical Consultant with strong VBCS (Oracle Visual Builder) capability and exposure to OCI deployments.

The role will focus on supporting and extending existing VBCS applications, while assisting with migration activities from on-prem environments into Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

This is a hands-on technical delivery role within an established Oracle Cloud estate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop applications and UI extensions using Oracle Visual Builder (VBCS)

  • Enhance and support existing Oracle Fusion Cloud extensions

  • Assist in migration of applications and related components to OCI

  • Work with REST APIs and Oracle Cloud services

  • Collaborate with functional consultants across Finance and Supply Chain

  • Support deployment, testing and defect resolution

  • Ensure solutions follow Oracle best practice and remain upgrade-safe

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Visual Builder (VBCS)

  • Experience working in Oracle Fusion Cloud environments

  • Solid JavaScript, HTML and CSS skills

  • Experience integrating via REST APIs

  • Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

  • Understanding of Oracle Cloud data structures

Desirable

  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

  • Experience with ATP (Autonomous Transaction Processing)

  • Previous involvement in cloud migration projects

  • Experience working in UK-based enterprise programmes
