Oracle VBCS/Redwood UI Developer
We are supporting a UK-based Oracle Fusion Cloud programme and are seeking a hands-on Oracle VBCS/Redwood UI Developer to address a specific gap in UI delivery.
This role is focused on Front End build and extension work within Oracle Fusion Cloud environments, with particular emphasis on Redwood UI and user experience refinement.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for designing and developing custom user interfaces and page extensions using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) within a live Fusion Cloud programme.
This is a delivery-focused role requiring strong hands-on build capability rather than high-level architecture or functional consulting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance UI components using Oracle VBCS/Oracle Visual Builder
- Build custom pages and page extensions within Oracle Fusion Cloud
- Implement and refine Redwood UI experience
- Design intuitive user interfaces aligned to business requirements
- Consume and integrate REST APIs within UI components
- Work closely with:
- Lead Architect
- Functional consultants
- Integration teams
- Programme stakeholders
- Ensure UI consistency, performance and usability across modules
- Contribute to documentation and best practice standards
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle VBCS/Oracle Visual Builder
- Proven delivery experience within Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP/SCM/HCM)
- Experience implementing Redwood UI
- Development of:
- Custom pages
- Application extensions
- UI enhancements
- Experience consuming REST services within VBCS
- Good understanding of Fusion Cloud security model (roles, privileges)
- Experience working within structured programme environments
Desirable
- Experience in Oracle Cloud ERP modules
- Exposure to Oracle JET
- Knowledge of OIC (beneficial but not essential)
- Experience in multi-stream Fusion transformation programmes
