  • What you'll be doing:

    We are seeking a skilled and motivated Digital Developer and Designer (Platform)

    to play a key role in the continued development and enhancement of our online services. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the council's digital transformation agenda by designing, developing, and maintaining user-focused digital platforms, particularly our Jadu Content Management System (CMS) and its associated integrations.

    In this role, you will ensure our website and digital platforms remain accessible, reliable, and easy to use, supporting the delivery of high-quality services for residents, businesses, and partners. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the digital and IT teams, as well as service areas across the council, to deliver improvements, streamline workflows, and implement innovative technical solutions, including APIs, Single Sign-On (SSO), and third-party system integrations.

    Annual increments, where applicable, are usually payable on 1st April each year, subject to six months service in the post, until the maximum spinal column point of the level has been reached. Payment of annual increments is not automatic and is subject to satisfactory performance, as assessed by your director.
