Reports to: Group COO

We are hiring a Product Manager – Platforms to own and optimise the core operational infrastructure powering our compliance, payments and treasury ecosystem.

This role is focused on automation, STP improvement, integration optimisation and cost efficiency across our banking and regulatory environment. You will work cross-functionally and report directly to the COO, driving high-impact initiatives with clear commercial and regulatory outcomes.

What You Will Own

  • Optimisation of workflows across compliance, payments and treasury, working closely with relevant stakeholders
  • Automation across the compliance and payments ecosystem
  • Improvement of STP rates and reduction of manual touchpoints
  • Bank and partner integrations, connectivity and routing logic
  • Technical assessments of new vendors and infrastructure partners
  • Cost optimisation across bank charges and payment rails
  • Embedding regulatory controls into platform design
  • Ruthless prioritisation and on-time delivery of high-impact initiatives

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and redesign internal workflows to increase automation and reduce operational risk
  • Analyse safeguarding and client money flows and optimise underlying architecture
  • Improve treasury and liquidity processes across payment cycles
  • Assess and optimise SWIFT connectivity and payment rail infrastructure (FPS,SEPA, ACH, etc.)
  • Lead sandbox testing and technical validation of new partners and vendors
  • Write structured technical requirements and product documentation for engineering teams
  • Ensure timely project delivery through disciplined execution and stakeholder management
  • Identify opportunities to use AI and intelligent tooling to automate workflows
  • Evaluate underlying data maturity and sequence AI implementation appropriately
  • Work cross-functionally across Compliance, Treasury, Finance, IT, Operations and external banking partners

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong experience in fintech, payments, FX or banking infrastructure
  • Deep understanding of safeguarding, client money flows and treasury operations
  • Experience with SWIFT connectivity and payment rail regulations
  • Proven track record of improving operational efficiency through automation
  • Strong understanding of APIs, integrations and system architecture
  • Experience conducting sandbox testing and technical partner assessments
  • Ability to translate operational needs into clear technical requirements
  • Commercial mindset with focus on cost-to-serve and margin optimisation
  • Data-driven, structured and highly execution-focused
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
