Job Opportunity: Senior AI Lead / Architect
Location: Hybrid – 2 days onsite at the London office
Employment Type: Contract (Outside IR35)
We are looking for an experienced AI Lead / Architect to drive enterprise AI initiatives. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on solution design, working closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to deliver scalable, practical AI-driven capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and prioritize impactful AI/GenAI use cases with business leaders
- Define architectures for AI-enabled solutions across data, applications, and workflows
- Provide hands-on technical leadership in prototyping, model integration, and validation
- Establish best practices for embedding AI/GenAI into development workflows
- Build reusable AI patterns and accelerators for enterprise adoption
- Align with data teams on readiness, governance, and model performance
- Support frameworks for evaluating and deploying AI responsibly at scale
Required Skills
- 10–15+ years in software/data engineering or related technical roles
- 5+ years in AI/ML, with recent GenAI/LLM exposure
- Proven track record designing and implementing AI solutions in enterprise settings
- Strong knowledge of LLMs, APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI), and data pipelines
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams
- Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution
Preferred Experience
- Background in regulated/data-sensitive environments
- Familiarity with Azure AI, Databricks, or similar ecosystems
- Experience guiding organizations in structured AI adoption
- Strong communication and stakeholder influence skills
