Role: D365 CE Developer
Location: London or Bristol (minimum 1 day per week onsite)
Duration: 6 months
Day Rate: £500 per day (Inside IR35)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced D365 Customer Engagement (CE) Developer to support a major project within the banking sector. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology, capable of delivering complex solutions, and confident in managing and enhancing modern CRM applications. You will play a key role in designing and developing Dynamics 365 CE solutions that address business needs and improve customer relationship management processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end implementation projects, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment of CRM solutions.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business processes, analyse requirements, and propose effective CRM solutions.
- Configure and customise Dynamics 365 CE applications using deep technical expertise.
- Deliver hands-on D365 CE/CRM development during customer implementations.
- Support CRM system integration with existing enterprise systems and services.
- Assist with CRM development and deployment processes.
- Provide 3rd line support for CRM implementation issues.
Qualifications & Skills
- Extensive experience as a Technical Consultant specialising in CRM Customer Engagement (CE).
- Strong hands-on experience with Power Platform technologies (Power Automate, Power Pages/Portals).
- Advanced configuration, customisation, and integration expertise in Dynamics 365 CE.
- Strong knowledge of integration technologies such as Logic Apps, JSON, AJAX, OAuth2.
- Proficiency in .NET, C#, JavaScript, and related programming languages.
- Significant experience developing Plugins for Dynamics 365.
- Strong experience with JavaScript and HTML to enhance Dynamics form customisation.
- Proven track record of leading CRM implementation projects from inception to delivery.
- Strong understanding of CRM best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Key Deliverables
- Development and customisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications.
- Integration of Dynamics 365 with other enterprise systems and data sources.
- Technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.
- Performance enhancements and continuous system improvements.
- Technical support during and post-implementation.
- Knowledge sharing and mentoring within the technical team.
Experience & Background
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working with Microsoft Dynamics CE across versions 2013–365.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong experience across Dynamics 365 modules (CE, Sales, Service, Marketing).
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, and TypeScript for custom development.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Hands-on experience with Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, API Management).
- Familiarity with Dataverse and the Common Data Model (CDM).
- Experience using integration tools such as KingswaySoft, Azure Data Factory, or SSIS.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (advantageous but not essential).
