SC Cleared Cloud/Azure Product Manager (Azure Governance)

Are you a Product Leader or an Azure Architect who has owned the product with a deep understanding of cloud governance and financial stewardship? Our high-profile government client is seeking an Azure Product Manager to take ownership of their Azure tenant governance products and frameworks.
Operating within an Agile environment, you will bridge the gap between engineering excellence, robust security, and financial accountability; to ensure the Azure services are used securely, responsibly, and cost-effectively through strong guardrails, policies, and data-driven decision-making.
Essential Skills Experience
Active SC or DV Security Clearance is mandatory for this urgent deployment.
Agile Expert: Proven experience delivering within Agile frameworks and managing product backlogs.
Azure Governance Master: Deep technical understanding of Azure governance constructs (Policy, Blueprints, Management Groups, Resource Lifecycles).
FinOps Capability: Strong working knowledge of cloud cost models, shared responsibility frameworks, and financial optimization.
Risk Management: High proficiency in identifying cloud risks, creating control strategies, and navigating escalation routes.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Product Leadership: Drive the product roadmap, manage backlog refinement, and set priorities utilizing the DDAT framework.
Azure Governance: Act as the ultimate custodian of the Azure tenant. Oversee landing zones, management groups, RBAC, Azure Policy, blueprints, tagging, and subscription life cycles.
Financial Stewardship (FinOps): Implement cloud financial management strategies, analyse consumption insights, and establish strict budget governance controls to optimize spend.
Risk Policy Integration: Translate complex technical, security, and operational inputs into clear, actionable governance rules and cloud operating policies.Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the key conduit between engineering, architecture, cyber security, and senior governance boards.
